My Story

My name is Jessica Taylor and I am the founder of The Art of Wholeness, a holistic practice dedicated to helping people on their journey to finding healing and wholeness.
I am wife to Jonathan and mother to two beautiful children, Gracie and Oliver, whom we homeschool. We live on Whadjuk Nyoongar Boodja in the Perth Hills. Nestled in the forest, we live on a 1.7 acre property which has become our own little oasis. A place for us to rest, work and play in our own little sanctuary.
I’d like to share with you a small part of my story, what led to me being where I am and my why behind The Art of Wholeness.
I grew up in the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia and after completing school went on to University to study a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Children and Family studies. After graduation, I spent several years working with children in Early Learning Centres and schools. I married at 21 and had my first child at the age of 24. I spent several years dedicated to being a mother and then took on a part time role as a nature play worker with Educated by Nature, running their nature playgroup program. Since finishing with Educated by Nature, I have devoted my time to being a Mum and homeschooling both my kids.
For many years during this time, I struggled a lot with anxiety. My own trauma and epigenetic patterns were impacting my daily life. I was experiencing on-going health issues and my daughter then became very sick with recurring glandular fever and chronic fatigue. When western medicine seemed to fail us again and again and could not come up with any answers, I began looking outside the box for alternative ways to support my own healing and that of my family.
In 2021 I completed my Sound Healing training and began offering sound healing sessions to friends and family. I found this healing modality to be a powerful way to support our nervous systems and overall health.
Around this same time, both my daughter and myself began to receive BodyTalk sessions with my now mentor Neil. Together Neil and I slowly unveiled and released many layers of my own trauma, began healing generations of epigenetic trauma and even managed to straighten the scoliosis in my spine (after being told it was impossible to do so by specialists), all through this gentle, non-invasive healing modality. Over time, both myself and my daughter experienced incredible healing.

Neil then planted the idea for me to become a BodyTalk practitioner myself and I knew that this was something I needed to share with the world.
I completed my BodyTalk practitioner training and now offer BodyTalk therapy from my healing room in Glen Forrest. I have experienced first hand the power of these modalities and am continually blown away by the healing capacity of the mind, body and soul, not only through my own healing journey but through the healing journeys of others I have the privilege of witnessing.
I want everyone to know that healing is possible. No matter your history, your genetics, your experiences or what anyone has told you.
Healing is possible.
I hope this give you hope.
Much Love,
Jess xx
